A Letter From Your City Forester

Dear Members of the Turtle Creek Association,

    Congratulations to the Turtle Creek Association on your foresight and diligence in funding the recently created Turtle Creek Corridor Urban Forest and Wildlife Management Plan!  The City of Dallas Park and Recreation Department and I want to thank you for your vision and leadership in making possible this the first of its kind for the Turtle Creek Greenbelt.

    We look forward to working closely with the TCA in the implementation and management of this plan, as it directs the nature of our public/private partnership to enhance and protect the urban forest within the Turtle Creek Corridor.  Your organization has had a distinguished history of making dramatic and lasting improvements, and all of us are grateful for your many successes in enhancing, preserving, and protecting one of our city’s six signature parks.

    Thank you once again for this meaningful gift to the ecology and health of the Turtle Creek Corridor,
