Many thanks to all who participated in Saturday's Community E-Recycle Day at Reverchon Recreation Center. The Oak Lawn / Turtle Creek / Uptown Community Roundtable collected over 1,000 pounds of E-waste...unwanted electronics saved from the Dallas landfill. This was a coordinated event with our sponsors, Commodity Recycling Solutions and Reverchon Recreation Center, Dallas Park & Recreation Department.

The award for the Most E-Waste Recycled goes to longtime Oak Lawn resident and member of the Oak Lawn Committee, Frank Stich for his truckload of E-stuff...35 years worth!DSCN0585.JPG

A special thanks to event partners TCA Patron Society member, Sherry Travers, CRS President, Joan U'ilani Meeks and Reverchon Recreation Center Director, Artemas McGee for their hard work to bring this day to a huge success.
