This year marks a milestone for Turtle Creek Association — 40 years of preserving, protecting, and enhancing one of Dallas’s most treasured natural spaces. What began as a small group of passionate neighbors has grown into a powerful community of advocates, united by a shared love for Turtle Creek.

Because of your support, the past year has been one of incredible transformation. Together, we’ve restored six historic bridges — a $350,000 investment that revived architectural landmarks and strengthened both safety and beauty along the corridor. We’ve enhanced the Turtle Creek Leisure Trail with lighting and fencing, and invested over $100,000 to keep the creek clear, clean, and thriving. Wildlife has returned, brush has been cleared, and water sparkles where debris once collected.

Our beautification efforts continue to blossom — from a stunning new gateway median project to the upcoming Crow I Sculpture landscape installation, every initiative adds new life and vibrancy to the corridor. Through collaboration with the City of Dallas and Parks and Recreation, we’ve made meaningful strides in addressing illegal encampments, improving safety, and creating a welcoming environment for everyone who walks, rides, or simply pauses to enjoy the view.
